SPIRITUAL RETREATS AT CAE NON
Due to the uncertainties of Covid-19 I cannot say when I might be able to offer these retreats, but I shall keep you all informed.
In the meantime, here is a brief introduction to what form they will take and what will be offered or provided when we are able to safely gather once more.
Each weekend retreat will begin at 10.am on Saturday and end at 4.pm. on Sunday.
Overnight accommodation will be camping in your own tent beside a stream.
All food and drink (apart from Saturday lunch) will be homecooked and included in the price of the weekend. Basic dietary requirements can be catered for.
There will be a maximum of six guests at any one time so peace, quiet and privacy are assured.
FREE TIME WEEKEND:
SATURDAY:
The retreat will begin at 10.am. Saturday morning with a coming together and brief opening ritual, followed by a short talk about Cae Non and the facilities and features which the land has to offer.
Bring a packed lunch.
The rest of the day will be your own to explore the land… meditate, read, or engage in whatever activity you wish to bring with you. Or you may decide to work your way around the various features of the land (island, labyrinth, etc.) as a mini vision quest. Conversely, if the weather isn’t so good, curl up in a nest of cushions besides the log burning stove in the little Hafod to read, chat, dose – or anything else you wish to do.
Hot and cold drinks will be available throughout the weekend.
Communal evening meal supplied around a candlelit table or outside in the sunshine (depending on weather and time of year.)
Saturday evening group activity: camp fire and eisteddfod:- bring something to read, sing, tell play or otherwise share to entertain everyone else. Singing, dancing and music – or drumming – definitely encouraged!
SUNDAY:
Communal breakfast.
Free time on land.
Hot lunch.
Afternoon activity: guided meditation or short massage to happily send you on your way, relaxed and refreshed.
Brief ritual to bring the weekend to a close.
Note: short individual sessions of spiritual healing will be available on the Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning.
